Baker Tilly International recognised among leading global M&A advisers

3 February, 2025

Baker Tilly International has been named a top adviser for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) in the latest LSEG (formerly Refinitiv) benchmarking league tables.

The network ranked 7th globally by deal count for mid-market M&A transactions, completing 262 deals in 2024. It also secured 7th place worldwide for small-cap M&A, advising on 257 transactions.

Baker Tilly firms in Australia, Benelux, China, Eastern Europe, France, Germany, Spain and the UK were also ranked among the leading M&A advisers in their respective markets.

Commenting on the results, Harsh Maheshwari, Global Head of Advisory at Baker Tilly International, said: “Amid a challenging year for global M&A, we are proud to be ranked among the top 10 advisers worldwide by deal volume.

“Despite the slowest market conditions since 2013, our teams have continued to deliver exceptional results, guiding clients through complexity and unlocking opportunities. With mid-market transactions showing a strong rebound in Q4 2024, we remain optimistic about the year ahead and committed to driving value for our clients in 2025 and beyond.”
