Baker Tilly network member Freeths has been named Outstanding Law Firm of the Year in the national and mid-sized firm category at the prestigious UK Property Week Awards 2025.
Recognised as one of the most distinguished accolades in the real estate sector, the awards brought together over 1,000 professionals – including developers, investors, entrepreneurs, financiers and agencies – to celebrate excellence and innovation across the industry. Thirty-three winners were honoured for their outstanding impact in shaping the future of property.
Freeths’ real estate team, which operates across 13 UK offices, was praised by the judging panel for its national expansion, strong regional growth, commitment to sustainability and ESG, and consistent delivery of high-quality work.
This marks Freeths’ second major honour at these awards and follows director Coralie Mckeivor’s recognition as EDI Champion at Property Week’s Inspiring Women in Property Awards 2023.
Commenting on the win, partner and national head of real estate Darren Williamson said: “We are thrilled to have been recognised as Outstanding Law Firm of the Year at such prestigious awards, which truly reflects a great year for our real estate team. To still be generating such positive results amongst a backdrop of economic unpredictability is brilliant and showcases even further Freeths’ strengths and capabilities in the sector. We could not do this without our fantastic clients and each member of our national team who have played their part in making this possible, and we look forward to our continued success together.”
The win comes less than two months after Freeths was named Law Firm of the Year at the City AM Awards 2025 and less than one year after being named Law Firm of the Year at the Legal Business Awards 2024.
